This elegant herbaceous perennial fern produces new fronds that bend backwards to form a tassel. Prized for its delicately textured foliage, this fern is a slow grower that can get up to two feet tall and wide. 
Gorgeous when mass planted under flowering shrubs or in containers. Makes an excellent groundcover, in rock and woodland gardens as well. Plant with heuchera, dicentra and hosta for companion plantings.
