Flowering Period: 2 - 3 months primarily in the spring and summer.

Light: Several hours indirect sun.  Requires less direct sunlight in the
           summer.

Water: Water thoroughly when soil is dry across the surface. Use
lukewarm water. Try to avoid getting water on the leaves.

Temperature: 55° - 60° F at night and 70° - 75° F during the day are
                        ideal.

Fertilize: Every 2 weeks with all purpose fertilizer or an African Violet
formula fertilizer during the active growing period only.

Special Notes:

When flowering period ends gradually reduce water until the plant dies back. Place it in a cool, dark location for 2 - 4 months. Water sparingly until new growth appears. Then move to light and resume regular watering and fertilizing.
