PERSIAN VIOLET (Exacum)


Flowering Period:
Anywhere from 2 - 6 months.

Light:
3 to 4 hours of direct sunlight is necessary in the winter months. More filtered light is sufficient in the summer.

Water:
Keep evenly moist. Water when soil is dry across the surface. Avoid letting plant wilt between waterings and never leave plant sitting in excess water.

Temperature:
550 - 600 F at night; 700 - 75° F during the day are ideal.

Fertilize:
Monthly with an all purpose houseplant fertilizer following label instructions.
